Elise Massa
WORSHIP LEADER, SONGWRITER
Elise Massa seeks to write songs that are rooted in stark truth and whimsical hope, ranging from parables to psalms to modern-day hymns to liturgical folk music. All songs are crafted to encourage the lives of the living and perhaps reluctant saints, often drawing on the ancient Christian liturgy and prayers. Her latest EP, O Antiphons Series (Rough Drafts), is described as a "quiet, understated album consists of seven original songs based on the O Antiphons, refrains sung during evening prayer on the seven last days of Advent preceding Christmas Eve." (Art & Theology)
Elise has also been published with Cardiphonia, Resound Worship and Jubilate Hymns. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA (United States), she and her family currently live in Durham, England.

Whether hosting a concert or helping lead worship, Elise is always happy to help serve churches and communities interested in an enjoyable evening of music which can also serve as a formation/equipping event. Inquiries can be made here.
